There are many versions of chocolate bars out there. Yet, nothing beats the good old milk chocolate bars that just melt in your mouth. You can readily buy the best chocolate bars at our candy store in toronto. But, you cannot control the sweetness of the ready-made bar.
What you can do is make a chocolate bar at home by yourself. However, you might not get the exact flavor-rich bars you get at stores, but this can still act as a good alternative.
1. Prepare the ingredients
For this recipe, you’ll need four ingredients only. They are:
Cocoa butter(½ cup): If you do not have access to cocoa butter, you can opt for coconut oil available online. However, the best-tasting chocolates are the ones made from cocoa butter.
Milk powder(3 tbsp): Never use actual milk to make chocolate bars. It will make them gooey and they will never set into hardened bars.
Cocoa Powder(⅓ cup): Be careful when choosing the cocoa powder. You don’t want to make the mistake of using a sweetened cocoa powder that just makes the bar too sweet to handle.
Icing sugar(¾ cup): If you do not have icing sugar, you can powder your regular sugar in a blender.
2. Get ready with the tools
The tools needed to make chocolate are pretty simple. You will need a pot, a large pyrex or metal bowl, a spatula, and a chocolate bar mold. Ensure that the bowl sits atop the pot without the bottom touching the water.
3. Melt and swirl
Add the ingredients in the following order: Cocoa butter, sifted cocoa powder, milk powder, and powdered sugar. After all the ingredients combine, stir for another 5 minutes, and then pour it into the mold.
Finally…
Refrigerate this hot mixture to set inside a refrigerator for about 30 minutes or more. That’s it! You can now enjoy a completely homemade chocolate bar without having to worry about extra sweetness. If cooking is not your forte, you can always order sugar-free chocolate bars from our candy store in Canada from the comfort of your home!
